A new goal: Road to 70k Gamerscore.

Hi everyone, hope you’re all well!

Today I’m going to be starting a new goal, my gamerscore (Which is the Xbox achievement system), has been lacking for a while. It’s currently sat at 41,072, a respectable number but I’ve been having achievement envy for some time now. When I was younger, I had a different Xbox account which was sat in the 30,000 area, but I lost that account. Which was the reason I stopped caring about my gamerscore, but that ends today!

So my goal is as follows;

  • Hit 70,000 Gamerscore by August 2020.

Why 70,000? well… it seemed more of a reasonable target than 100,000. I’m also not looking to 100% any game, because that takes a level of dedication that, to be honest with you, I don’t currently possess. Also, it allows me to work through some games that have been a part of my backlog for years, whilst also being able to give you guys my humble opinions on those games.

My goal for this month is to finish five games from my backlog and through completion, I estimate that would equal around half the gamerscore for that game. Assuming that’s the case, five games would be roughly 2,500 gamerscore towards my goal… not too bad. But that leads to my question to you guys…

I’m currently playing Celeste, But what do I play next?

  • Brothers tale.
  • Little Nightmares.
  • Cup Head.
  • What Remains of Edith Finch.

Which game should I play next? have you played and completed any of these games?

I’m looking forward to this challenge if anything it will entice me to play more games and work through a backlog that never seems to end!

Thanks, everyone!

Dale.

    • Edith finch is the game that I’ve put off for so long, with no good reason. Once I finnish celeste I’ll definitely play it and a chat about it sounds good 😁

  1. Jumping on the Edith Finch bandwagon here! I played it about a month ago, and absolutely loved it. Little Nightmares is also a great game, would definitely recommend that as well. I’ve heard good things about the other two, but never played them myself.

    • Looks like Edith Finch is winning, I’ve been interested in it for a while but have never gotten around to it. I’ve played the first few minutes of little nightmares and I can already see me loving it and reading more into the story 😁
